Mindset, some people believe they can make anything happen with positive energy. I’m sharing 30 days of gratitude with everyone for the third year now, and it firmly sticks me in the believer category. Each day I send out into the world my positive happiness I get it back threefold. Sharing what you are grateful for not only lifts you, but also lifts those you connect with and shines a light on all the good and positive things happening to you and to others. When you can see one positive, others seem to show themselves confirming the fact we have a lot of goodness in our lives.
Maybe it seems a bit woo-woo to you, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Manifestation is not just a buzz word, it really works.
Last time I completed the program I wrote the blog post 5 things I learned from a month of gratitude. In summary I learned a lot about myself, and the importance of looking at every action I do with a positive spin, so it snowballs and encourages more good things to happen.
These were the standout things I learned:
- Having gratitude makes you come alive.
- Reflecting on gratitude makes you focus.
- You value your own thoughts and input into the world much more.
- Being grateful makes you more successful.
- When you are grateful, your “shine” rubs off on others.

I also learned that my stress levels are way lower when I’m on the positive train. We all could do with a little less stress in out lives, RIGHT?
The whole world has times when things don’t seem to go right. You’ve heard bad luck comes in threes, that’s right we all look for multiple problems when something goes wrong. Maybe it’s just the universe reflecting our negative energy looking for the bad when we should be striving for the good. Sure, major horrible events will still occur like earthquakes and floods that we have no control over, but I’m more interested in you and your own situation; I want to help build your resilience to negative thoughts in your own life and take you on this journey with me to believing in the power of gratitude. Together we will create a tribe of people who are constructive, encouraging and optimistic and happy to share so we inspire others with our words.
I want to be your gratitude mentor.
This month I am once again sharing with my Barefoot Mentor Facebook followers 30 days of Gratitude. Anyone can join in, like my Facebook Page and you can be part of it. I would love you to share with your friends all that you are grateful for, so we can spread the positive vibes wide and far, if you don’t have Facebook, maybe you could use email or any other social media you have available. It’s about attitude change, it’s about sharing the love, it’s about giving people a vehicle to let everyone know much you appreciate the good things in your life.
Please join me for 30 Days of Gratitude; inspiration comes in many forms and usually from places we have not looked before.
Share to be inspired, be inspired to share.
